Orange Beach/Liquid Life

I'm vacationing this week in Orange Beach, Alabama with my husband, children and parents. We're close enough to home that those with classes or jobs can run back to Fairhope during the week to take care of business, and get back down to the beach by the end of the day.   With all the different schedules of family members, that's the way we have to vacation this year. Of course, as long as I have my computer and internet, I'm good to go, so there's no leaving the beach for me!   The only thing that could possibly pull me away from the beautiful white sand is my new favorite coffee shop, Liquid Life Cafe'. My son already knew about this shop, and since he's a coffee snob, I knew his recommendation should be taken seriously. (Did I tell you he's working this summer at Latte' Da Coffee Shop inside Fairhope's Page and Palette Bookstore? Go by and tell him his mother is awesome. He loves that!)   Big son was right. The coffee is outstanding and I thought the entire shop was completely charming.   Oyster shell encrusted chandeliers remind you you're relaxing at the coast.   Inviting sitting areas like this soft teal sofa and  . . .   this beautiful swing made from architectural pieces make you want to linger, but then you remember there's a fabulous beach you need to get back to .   Pastries, coffee, sandwiches and delicious salads, Liquid Life makes it all taste wonderful.   Yes, it's a real rainbow. It's just how we do a typical Monday here in paradise.
