Preorder Excitement!
Well, isn’t this just a hoot-and-a-half?
You write a book, then you have to switch hats and market the thing. Who knew?
And on top of writing and marketing, I also recorded the audio version of We Don’t Push in Fairhope. I don’t know why, but it was exhausting!
To make it fun and to help the book’s rankings — because these days, that’s what it’s all about – computerized rankings, (I’m having flashbacks to the swimsuit competition in the Miss Understood Pageant 1988. All the hairdryers backstage blew out the computers and Charmin Clotfelder accidentally won with skewed digital rankings. Seriously? Her mother got her name off the package of toilet paper).
Anyway — I’m hoping you’ll take a moment to preorder the book, beginning this coming Sunday, September 1st. (which may or may not be someone’s birthday). No pressure . . . but, just sayin’. Thank you, it’s the perfect gift.
Orders placed on my site HERE during September, will get a groovy sticker. When you click to purchase the book, you don’t have to order the sticker, it will automatically be tossed in. Stickers are the big thing now. Just look at the kid’s computer cases. I used to love to get stickers in the cereal box. I had one son, who for some reason, feared stickers. We had to sneak his nametag on his back in Vacation Bible School. I will definitely send him the first sticker out of the box.
The book will be released October 8th, and your pre-order will be shipped before that magical day of delight.
Local pick-up preorders can be placed ahead of time through my favorite independent bookstore in Fairhope, Page and Palette, and will also get a sticker. Click on their name to visit their website or call them at 251-928-5295.
Thank you for marking your calendars to Preorder in September, and also for the launch party on October 8th. You are all invited and I can’t wait to see you there. Thank you again for reading.
