Don’t think traditional, “rabbit food” here. No carrots, lettuce or cabbage from Mr. McGregor’s garden are anywhere in sight for this Easter Bunny Snack Food.
This is one of the easiest and fun snacks you can make – not only for little hoppers, but big grown-up rabbits as well.
Here’s what I started with, but I decided to omit the white candy melts (waxy) and only go with the white chocolate chips.
Popcorn
Dark chocolate and white chocolate M&M’s
Springtime-Easter sprinkles and candies, including Wilton candy carrots.
Pop the popcorn, and spread it out on parchment paper.
Melt the white chocolate and drizzle over the popcorn.
Then think to yourself, “Hey, I love salty things with my sweet things and after all, this IS SOUTH ALABAMA where peanuts are one of our largest crops!” Then, pull out the can of Piggly Wiggly Party Peanuts. Sprinkle those on, along with all the candies. Drizzle on more chocolate, and . . .
Wait until it dries ( you won’t believe this, but I had on the air-conditioner . . . 80° on April 1st and it wasn’t an April Fool’s joke!). Break into chunks and you are ready to feed a bunch of bouncy bunnies.

Can you imagine how cute this would be with red, white and blue candies for Independence Day? Or how about green candies for Leprechaun “Food?” Hmmm . . . now I’m on a roll. Little orange pumpkins?
Here are some cookies I made for another little snack. You can’t live on rabbit food alone!

How do you have the time to write this blog, develop these recipes and bake fabulous looking cookies? Are you secretly an alien? A cyborg? Wonder Woman?
Yes.
Nothing better than some Easter bunny snack food, Happy Easter Leslie Anne!
Thanks Jenna, and happy Easter to you too!
I just gained 5 lbs. from reading your post. Boy does that look good, Have a wonderful Easter, Leslie Anne.
I thought of you as I wrote the weather report here. Is it even possible you and I live in the same hemisphere?
Happy Easter to you too!
Oh, YUMMMMMMM!!!!! Popcorn and white chocolate are two of my very favorite sweet and salty treats! What a clever gal you are! Have a wonderful Easter, Leslie Anne! And my best to Lois Lane, too!
Thank you. Lois Lane is ready and determined to catch the Easter Bunny this year. When the boys were little, they often found fluffs of cotton caught in the front door where he made a quick get-away from our old, beloved dog, Mabel.
This looks very tasty. Crazy weather indeed…80 degrees on April 1st but on March 28th it was SNOWING in Oxford, MS!!
Have a blessed Easter.
Malinda in Mississippi
I remember it sleeting several years ago on Easter here in Fairhope!!! We didn’t realize it had snowed until we were backing out of the driveway going to church and the kids said, “Hey, the roof is white!” Tricky Easter Bunny!
I think I will never be happy with plain popcorn again. You are so talented. The cookies are amazing.
Thanks. A little bit of sweetness in the house never hurts!
