HarperBayHouse-2The western facing houses along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay have gorgeous waterfront views of the daily sunsets.  This bay get-away, listed by Sandra Harper,  is currently available for purchase and has the perfect spot for all those late day celebrations. And just wait until you see the view . . .

Ahhhhh. How’s this for a peaceful front yard? The property includes 100′ of bay front property with bulkhead. The 300′ pier was added two years ago.

In the top photo above, the house is located on the left, and you can see how the vacant lot, which is included in the price of the house, gives extra room for a garden, parking, or to even sell to another buyer.

HarperBayHouse-20And back to the house, how is this for a front porch view? This screened porch runs the length of the house and is large enough to hold an eating area for outdoor dinners as well as a couple of beds for a sleeping porch.

Falling asleep to the soothing sound of the water and waking to the pelicans coasting by on a cool breeze would be a slice of heaven.

HarperBayHouse-19The air-conditioned under-house storage is huge and includes covered parking and a woodworking bench. There’s plenty of storage area for boat and beach equipment.

HarperBayHouse-8This is the large, sunny family room that overlooks Mobile Bay. The floor plan is designed to be open, so you can even see the water while you cook. Built like a rock in 1995, the house has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. An outdoor shower on the patio underneath the house, keeps everything indoors sand-free.

HarperBayHouse-10A large laundry room has plenty of storage and the new washer and dryer are included. Just off this room to the left, is a charming spot for a sewing room, office or craft room.

HarperBayHouse-7Here’s a view looking back at the kitchen. The pine floors are perfect for this area, where you look outside the windows, and if you don’t see water, you see the tall Alabama Longleaf Pines. I would love to have old reclaimed pine floors in my house someday. These floors are in the entire house, upstairs and down.

HarperBayHouse-14This fun room was decorated for a child and is one of two large bedrooms upstairs The beautiful master bedroom is on the main floor, just off the great room, and all three rooms face the bay.

HarperBayHouse-3This is on the side of the house with the extra lot. An herb garden grows great here in the warm sunshine.

harperLot14-2Do you remember this beautiful waterfront lot I previously showed you? Well, it’s still available and just down the way from this charming house. So whether you want to build, or buy on Mobile Bay, you have a choice. Decisions, decisions.

The motivated seller is offering this house, plus the extra lot for $625,000, which is a fabulous price for a move-in-ready home of this quality directly on the bay.

HarperBayHouse-1If you would like more information on this bay get-away or others in the Fairhope area, Sandra would love to talk to you. Her number is 251-583-7503 or CLICK HERE to go to her web site and read the exact details.  And if you end up living here, I’ll bring my crab trap over.
