Antique Jewelry Heart

February 14, 2014

2 jewelry heart
I wanted to make something special for all of you, my kind, thoughtful, highly intelligent
and good looking readers.
The bobbles are from my antique jewelry collection. Most were handed down from Grandmothers. I wear many of the pieces and have had some of the earrings converted to pierced.
square heart
And a big, special kiss and hug go out to my dearest Valentine, who is stranded in another state due to the wintry snow storm!
It’s the first Valentine’s Day in twenty years we’ve spent apart.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
You’re stuck in a hotel
there’s nothing to do.
Don’t worry about me
Even though you are far
I know they have jewelry
wherever you are!
A night on the town
Is just as sweet when
You return home
And we celebrate then.
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!

  1. A very lovely and creative way to send Valentine greetings. Sorry your sweetie is away but like you say a night out will when he reeturns home will be perfect. I love your subtle hint for him, are you clever:)

  2. That is just beautiful, I’ve seen Christmas trees done this way in a picture frame, but your heart is unique and set apart from those. A great way to keep those treasures. I’ll have to see what my mom has! -Dawn @ We Call It
