Fairhope has quite a range of different house styles, small bungalows downtown, ranch houses and coastal cottages along the bay. But if you keep driving a bit farther out of town, you’ll find yourself on relaxing tree lined roads surrounded by soft rolling hills where the privacy and peaceful scenery are all yours.
Welcome to the most gorgeous traditional home in our area, and if you think this is beautiful, just wait until you see inside.
Sitting on 12.3 fenced acres, this 5,300+ square foot home was built with the highest level of craftsmanship in every detail. It’s truly one of the premier residences in Fairhope.
Antique heart pine floors, handmade bricks and coffered ceilings give that perfect mix of formality and casualness where you and your family would be totally relaxed.
Do you think you could manage to pull yourself off one of the two large porches to whip up a meal in this amazing kitchen? Anything would taste good in here!
And I actually think I could learn to love doing laundry in this multipurpose room.
The view from the master bedroom overlooks the beautiful green rolling landscape.
And I think you’ll agree, this custom closet rivals any outdoor landscape you could find. I think I’d actually pull up a chair and just stare at all that glorious storage!
I could write some mighty fine articles from this desk . . . or wait, would I want to use the other office?
This office is cozier and closer to the family action.
The butler’s pantry and wet bar area leads into the dining room, which by the way. . . I love having a dedicated dining room. I think the trend is to ditch this room and make everyone have formal dinners in the kitchen. What’s that? No more formal dinners? What is the world coming to?
And I think this is a different dining area. The rugs are different. Mercy daisy, I’m officially lost.
Here’s the cozy breakfast nook. Mmm. Grits never tasted so good!
The master bathroom is not only beautiful, but the storage is wonderful. No more towels shoved in the back of the cabinet!
The back porch is just as pretty as the front, with plenty of room for romping in the green grass. You do like to romp, don’t you? Because if you do . . .
this will be your view. Â Ahhh. Perfect.

Mercy daisy, indeed!! There is not a single thing I would change. Gorgeous!!
A professional cook would be the only thing I’d add.
This house had me at hello! What a fabulous driveway!
I love a house that has plenty of parking, just in case I decide to throw a spur of the moment soiree’!
What a beautiful home – I have laundry room and closet envy over here….amazing spaces! Happy Monday!
I do like the way the spaces are all open and even the connecting areas don’t feel dark or closed in.
I always thought it would be fun to live by you, now I can! And have you over for a formal dinner! Dusting off the china now.
Ha! I think this house would even make paper plates look good . . . but why push it? 8pm?
Hi Little Bitty Pretty One! Oh, my goodness! What a place. I can’t imagine living there but it would be a dream! If I lived there I would definitely have to have someone cook my grits for me! 🙂 Thanks for popping in and hope you’ve had a nice weekend.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia 😉
I’ll cook the grits for you if you let me hang out with you on the back porch!
Wowza!!! I am in love with that gorgeous house. I could just live in the laundry room. I would not change one thing! Have a great week!
Yes, the laundry room is lovely, until you add the laundry! But it’s so roomy and bright it would make the most gigantic pile of boy clothes not quite as bad as before!
And although it looks like it’s out in the country, it’s really only minutes from downtown!
The house looks like it is all of those nice things you said and then some. Stunningly beautiful yet livable.
Wow, what a house! Are you sure it’s only 5,000 sq.ft.? It looks much larger. The laundry room and offices are my favorite spaces. Does that make me a Domestic Goddess?!
It’s quite a laundry room! I think I may agree with you there.
Leslie Anne,
that home is AMAZING! I’d never want to leave if I lived there! The heart pine floors, the kitchen and that master bath…….could you want anything more!
Rebecca
Maybe a swimming pool and a pony, but that could be easily added!
